Suniel Shetty on Athiya Shetty’s pregnancy: She is a beautiful mother to be; calls Hera Pheri 3 with Priyadarshan as ‘Blockbuster!’

Suniel Shetty beams with excitement as he talks about two major milestones in his life – becoming a grandfather and the upcoming Hera Pheri 3. Talking about taking on a new role in his life – that of a grandfather – at a recent event, Suniel said, “Athiya is a beautiful and brilliant mother-to-be. She is very con scious, focused and knows what she wants. It’s the best thing to look forward to in 2025.” Athiya and cricketer KL Rahul, who tied the knot in January 2023, took to social media on November 8 last year to announce their pregnancy news. “Our beautiful blessing is coming soon. 2025 (sic),” the couple wrote on Instagram.On the work front, Suniel is excited about Hera Pheri 3, which is set to go on floors soon and also marks the return of its original director, Priyadarshan. “I think Priyadarshan sir is the original and the only one who can make Hera Pheri 3. I am super excited about that. He is someone who knows comedy like the back of his palm. He is great script writer, and he is writing himself again. He’s got an extraordinary script,” he said.When asked what fans can expect from the film, Suniel confidently replied, “Blockbuster.”Suniel was recently seen in Ibrahim Ali Khan’s debut flick Nadaaniya. The movie also stars Khushi Kapoor. Suniel plays Khushi’s father in the movie directed by Shauna Gautam. Shauna was an associate director on Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. She was also Rajkumar Hirani’s assistant director on Sanju.
