Shoaib Ibrahim breaks silence on backlash over his vlog post after Pahalgam attack; says 'Sirf main aur Dipika target kyun, film promotions, music videos...'

Television coupleShoaib Ibrahim and wife Dipika Kakar, who recently went to Kashmir for a vacation, faced backlash for allegedly promoting his vlog. Shoaib Ibrahim has now spoken out against the backlash he and his wife, Dipika Kakar, received after posting an Instagram update about their safety and a forthcoming vlog shortly after the Pahalgam terror incident in Kashmir.Although the couple had already departed from the area, some online users criticised their timing, calling the post inappropriate during such a sorrowful situation.
In his latest vlog, Shoaib slammed the trolls and said, "Story waala joh mudda bana hai, yaa banaya hai We flew from Srinagar to Delhi on April 22 and when we were in flight in the afternoon, the Pahalgam incident took place at that time which we were not aware of. When we landed in Delhi and switched on our phones finally after a week we got our network as we all know prepaid sims don't work In Kashmir. We started getting messages from people asking about our wellbeing.We did not bother much because we were travelling with a kid especially. When we reached our hotel, the news about the attack started coming in but they initially said that one or two people were injured. We only knew about the injured people so we thought of informing everyone and I put up the story. To inform everyone that we are safe and Vlog coming out soon. But we did not expect that people will make it so big especially by some YouTube channels and publications."
He further added, "It was never my intention to promote the vlog. I did not have the entire information about the attack. When I started getting other videos and information that's when we learnt about the entire situation. We were at the same place a few days ago. I did not delete my story as my intention was never to promote the vlog. Par kayi log mujhe maa-behan ki gaaliyaan bakk ke gaye hain DMs par. There were so many people who haven't subscribed out channel or checked my channel but they also came and abused me ."
Shoaib called out the hypocrisy of those who targeted him with criticism, pointing out that the same people remained quiet when other content creators shared travel vlogs, promoted movies, or released music videos during the same time. He said, "Agar maan lo main video daal bhi deta, toh sirf main target kyun? Dipika aur main target kyun? Kya main aur Dipika special hain aapke liye? Saare vloggers ne videos daily basis par daale hain, film promotions horahe hain, music video promote horahe hain. Even you guys must be leading your life the same way like before. Aap khana kha rahe hoge, gaane sun rahe honge, kaam par jaa rahe honge. So why am I the only one to get targeted. Mujhe kyun maa behan ki gaali, why was Dipika trolled so much. "
