After a gruesome battle for the UFC welterweight title went down in Montreal, Canada, on May 10 between Belal Muhammad and Jack Della Maddalena, the recent revelation of the post-fight injuries of the former champion, shared by Dana White on his social media, has blown up on the internet. The epic showdown of two incredibly skilled MMA fighters concluded with Perth’s Maddalena securing the title from the reigning champion since July 2024. Apart from the hard-earned victory of Maddalena, the severe facial injuries of Muhammad have sparked concerns among fans, as the graphic images shared by the UFC president have reached audiences around the globe, highlighting the brutal combat.

In a recent post shared by Dana White, he disclosed Muhammad’s facial injuries up close, captioned “What a war!! Broken Nose, Orbital and split lip #respect”
Amid White’s post creating massive buzz on the internet, Muhammad tweeted on his profile, “Allah[’s] plan is the best plan, Alhamdillah [sic] for everything. Thank you to all my supporters. I been here before and I’ll be back.” While the graphic images from White did highlight the severity of being inside the octagon in an MMA bout, fans continue to wish for the former champion’s recovery and return to the ring.
