While it has been a pretty season for the Colorado Rockies, not just players and the management, but fans have been equally disappointed in how humiliating the team’s defeat has been. Fans took to X to share their responses after the results came out when the Rockies lost to the San Diego Padres. While some fans called out the MLB, other fans called out the management for not making the right.

Bad season for Colorado Rockies

The Colorado Rockies are having a very bad season. On Saturday, they lost 21-0 to the Padres — their worst shutout loss ever. In just two games, they were outscored 34-9. Their previous worst shutout was 17-0 in 1995. With a 6-33 record, they’ve tied the 1988 Orioles for the worst 39-game start in MLB history.

Fans disappointed over Colorado Rockies’ poor performance

After the Colorado Rockies’ X account shared a post, fans were quick enough to react to how they were disappointed in the team's performance.
A fan said:
“There is no excuse for this. Should never happen, especially at home. The reported attendance was 38,423. The owners don't care and they don't have to if people keep buying tickets, food, and beer. Things won't change until us fans force the owners to improve the team.”Another fan reacted and said:
“At what point does MLB step in and force a sale of the team? Have you no shame, Monforts? Pathetic excuse for a major league team. Sell the team and keep McGregor Square. Enough is enough.”Reacting to the post itself, a fan said:
“This is kind of an embarrassing tweet that's just making it worse?”A fan said:
“Actually a pretty funny way to lean into the all-time bad season seemingly hitting a rock-bottom. Unfortunately, it might be time to start buying low on this Rockies team in certain spots as they are going to have some very long ML's.”Another fan said:
“We should definitely talk more about how embarrassing this franchise is and MLB should force a sale”A fan said:
“The players deserve better. No athlete wants to lose. This is on ownership and management.”Another fan said:
“All Rockies fans should protest by marching onto the field to get every single home game called off until Dick Monfort is gone. What a disgrace he is. You all deserve so much better and should force his hand.”Also Read: “Still a lot of games left”- Rockies’ GM Bill Schmidt reacts after an awful start as he hopes for a turnaround
