"He would sit outside for hours while I’m inside partying": Travis Hunter's fiancée Leanna Lenee once revealed how he supported her choices but it backfired on her

Travis Hunter, one of the most talented college football players and the winner of the Heisman Trophy, is all set to be drafted in the NFL in a few weeks. Travis Hunter is also set to get married in a few months with his fiancee, Leanna Lenee. But currently, the two have kept themselves away from the public eye due to the hate they had received in the last couple of months.


A few months ago, Travis Hunter’s fiancee, Leanna Lenee, posted a video while getting ready where she spoke about how Travis Hunter has no problems with the way she lives her life on her own terms but her words irked many fans of his.
In the video, Travis Hunter’s fiancee, Leanna Lenee says, “He doesn’t drink..I drink — I don’t drink a lot, but I drink — and I used to party and stuff. He would literally drive me, sit outside for hours while I’m inside partying, and then take us home.”
Leanna Lenee also added, “He never tried to be like, ‘Oh, just because I don’t drink, you can’t drink, or you can’t hang out with your friends.”
While Travis Hunter’s fiancee, Leanna Lenee, believed that she was speaking highly of her talented fiance, it completely backfired on her.
Travis Hunter’s fans slammed his fiancee for going to parties and drinking without him. This later snowballed into a much bigger controversy in December 2024 when an old video of Leanna Lenee’s resurfaced where she was seen dancing “inappropriately” with an unknown man.
Fans heavily trolled the two with even many famous rappers and athletes joining in on it. However, Travis Hunter remained true to his relationship and continued defending Leanna Lenee until he was forced to deactivate his social media.


The Heisman Trophy winner who was once very public about his relationship on social media, deleted his Instagram account for a few days. However, he did come back on social media after a few days but still maintains a low profile.
Leanna Lenee used to have a public account but the hate forced her to make her social media accounts private. Later, she deleted her Instagram account to scape the hate she was receiving on a regular basis.
In January 2025, Travis Hunter opened up about hiring a security guard on an episode of his podcast, The Travis Hunter Show. He also opened up about how his life is much better since he has kept himself off social media.
Currently, the dates for Travis Hunter and Leanna Lenee’s have not been made public but as per reports, it is all set to happen in the month of May. While Travis Hunter keeps a low profile now, fans are waiting for an update on his wedding.
