WWE superstars of all time. However, the Best in the World has also been a part of many film and television projects in his career. He will next appear on the silver screen, this time in an exciting television series with his first look revealed in the new trailer.

The official trailer of a new and upcoming series on SyFy, 'Revival' was dropped online this week. The Best in the World, CM Punk was spotted in the video, appearing close to the 1:10 mark. He looked like an intense and eerie character, which suggests a different role that Punk has ever done on the silver screen.
The series will be based on Mike Norton and Tim Seeley's best-selling Image Comics title. The synopsis highlights a rural town in Wisconsin where people from the dead come back to life. It follows the story of an officer, Dana Cypress, a single mother, solving a murder mystery in a town suspected of being committed by revived corpses.
The show features an ensemble cast of top names alongside CM Punk, like Lance Samuels, Daniel Iron, Daniel March, Melanie Scrofano, Greg Hemmings, Stephen Foster, and Amanda. Luke Boyce and Aaron B. Koontz, the series' executive producers, created the show. It is set to premiere on Thursday, June 12 at 10 p.m. ET on SyFy. The episodes of the series will stream on Peacock a week after their debut.

CM Punk bagging the role in this exciting series comes as a major boost to his status as a top star in the world of sports and entertainment. Punk is coming off one of the best months of his WWE career, main-eventing WrestleMania for the first time in his illustrious career a few weeks back. He has been off television since the RAW after WrestleMania, after being attacked by Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker. With Punk set to appear in this upcoming series, it will be interesting to see him in a different acting capacity.
